  WORSHIP IN ENGLISH
 Welcome to our website!
If you are an English speaking person, there is GOOD NEWS for you.
We will be starting an English speaking ministry very shortly,
possibly before March 2011. Let me introduce my new partner, Pastor David Kim,
who will be leading worship service and Bible studies for you.
If you read his profile, he has interesting experiences in various fields of his life,
and I am sure that his leadership and service to you will be enriched by them.
Please visit our church and join us. His wife, Akiko, is from the Tochigi Prefecture
in Japan, and has a deep love for children, as she is raising their 3 daughters.
She loves to teach and care for children. If you have children, she will be very happy
to welcome any children, shy or mischievous.  She just loves children. Our church is currently under remodeling, in which the first phase will be completed
sometime in February 2011. At this time around we’d like to start an English ministry.
Our church started a Japanese ministry back in 1994 and it is the first time that we
will have a full ministry for English speaking persons. Please check our website as this information will be updated .    God bless you Pastor Toshio Maehara

Hello, Greetings! My name is David Kim English Ministry Pastor in the Gospel Venture International Church.  On the Behalf of Senior Pastor Maehara and the congregation, Welcome to the English Ministry!  My wife Akiko and I are here to pray for you and help you get closer to the Lord, and serve Him together.

I grew up in the South Korea, and immigrated to the USA when I was sixteen years old. It was very difficult transition: I had to learn and adapted into new language, culture, custom, and systems. During these hard and challenging times, I have found that Lord Jesus Christ is truly savior and shepherd of my life.  I am indebted to Him.

Little bit about me, I am a United States Army Veteran. I graduate from Biola University studied Christian Leadership. I received Master Degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University and worked in the professional business world.  I attended Fuller Theological Seminary, and served as assistant pastor in the Korean Churches. Currently I work as a high school math teacher in the city of Fontana during week days.

I believe in our life, we often meet the various challenges that are hard to face alone, in this  church by the grace of Christ, you will be able to find prayer partners that who will be praying for you and walk with you this journey!

Sincerely,

David Kim

John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
